Oliver Lang
Silbury's founder is Oliver Lang. Oliver is a senior advisor, strategy consultant and executive coach enabling businesses in the TV industry to navigate complex market change, capture new growth opportunities and deliver business transformation. His work has made him a trusted partner to broadcasters, production companies, VFX houses, industry trade organisations and talent agencies.

His approach combines rigorous strategic thinking with a clear, accessible style that resonates with both creative and commercial leaders. His clients have included the Screen Sectors Skills Task Force, S4C, Milk VFX, the Film and TV Charity, Mindhouse and Curious Films. Oliver also works as a coach to senior leaders in the creative industries, with a particular focus on working with leaders who are transforming their businesses or their careers.

Previously, as Controller of Content Investment at BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios), Oliver transformed BBCW’s content and investment strategy for the streaming age. Content investments during this time included global hits such as Bluey, Killing Eve and Planet Earth 2. Oliver also established BBCW as a powerhouse investor in UK production companies. Under his leadership, BBCW became one of the leading investors in the UK production sector.
