Strategic clarity
We identify where value sits, what needs to change, and which decisions will make the greatest difference to performance.
Strategy · Leadership · Performance
We work with TV and digital content business leaders to build clear strategies, aligned leadership teams and a model that works.
57% of leaders in media and entertainment believe their business model won't be viable within a decade.
With accelerating market and technological change, the pressure on leaders to transform their businesses while simultaneously sustaining short-term results is greater than ever.
But often uncertainty, lack of alignment or immediate pressures are holding leaders back from enabling their businesses to meet the challenge.
Silbury works with CEOs and senior leaders in TV and digital content businesses to help them get fit for the future. We work with them to develop clear strategies, build aligned leadership teams and deliver demonstrable results. Our work is behind major transformations and turnarounds across the industry.
01 — Context
Our work typically starts at a point where business leaders know that something needs to change, but the path forward is not yet clear.
02 — Diagnosis
Underlying issues can be hard for business leaders to see up close, but common challenges we find include:
These can lead to significant effort and severely stretched teams, but without the results to show for it.
03 — Practice
Silbury focuses on the point where strategy, execution, and leadership performance meet. Our work is designed to create clarity quickly and translate it into action that delivers tangible results and builds businesses that are fit for the future.
We identify where value sits, what needs to change, and which decisions will make the greatest difference to performance.
We work with leadership teams to turn strategic priorities into practical actions with a commercial focus.
We support leaders and teams to operate effectively under pressure; aligning around priorities, collaborating effectively, improving decision-making, and strengthening delivery.
04 — Engagements
Alongside our bespoke consulting work we offer three programmes designed to meet common challenges for senior leaders and businesses in the TV and digital content industries.
A 6–8 week tailored assessment and action plan that helps TV and digital content businesses understand how well positioned they are to meet their future goals, and what they can do to strengthen performance. We assess the core components of future success, including Market Positioning, Strategic Clarity, Operating Effectiveness and AI Readiness.
Coming Soon: a structured programme to define strategic priorities, align the leadership team, and build the conditions required to deliver quickly and effectively.
One-to-one coaching for senior leaders of TV and digital content businesses, supporting them to develop the confidence, capability and credibility to lead well through pivotal moments — such as the first 100 days of a new role, or leading an organisation through major change.

05 — Experience
Silbury has worked with organisations including BBC, Channel 4, Motive Pictures, Mindhouse, Curtis Brown, Milk VFX and Pact.
A production facilities business with declining revenues required a full review following new ownership. Silbury assessed strategy, operations, and organisational structure, identifying strengths alongside critical weaknesses. This enabled a focused transformation programme, leading to significant growth and record revenues within two years.
A production company facing financial pressure needed to reset both its balance sheet and strategic direction. Silbury identified higher-value opportunities and supported a revised approach. Within 18 months, the business received investment offers reflecting an eight-figure valuation.
An established production company sought to expand into digital and podcasting. Silbury worked with the team to define positioning, commercial models, and near-term opportunities. This led to new funding opportunities within weeks.
A founding team navigating a period of transition required clarity on priorities and direction. Through structured coaching and facilitated sessions, Silbury helped establish a shared plan. This underpinned a successful sale and transition into a larger group.
